The Branch Operations Assistant is responsible for leading operations at the designated branch and will work directly with the Branch Operations Manager and Branch Manager to ensure all warehouse, delivery, and all other business processes are executed in accordance with company process and goals. Branch Operations Assistants report directly to the Branch Operations Manager.


  • Foster and demonstrate the company's core values, instilling a commitment to Heroic Service in all assigned branch personnel.
  • Responsible for Operations administrative activities at the branch level.
  • Work with all functional stakeholders to execute and manage multiple processes affecting operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Support warehouse and delivery operations and administrative requirements as necessary.
  • Ensuring product is delivered accurately and invoiced in a timely manner.
  • Ensure inventory is managed accurately and profitably minimizing risk associated with shrink, obsolescence, and damage.
  • Ensure customer transactions are executed in accordance with required processes while maximizing the value of service provided.
  • Manage operations business process as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment to strong Sales support.

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • 1-3 years of Operations Experience.

  • Must be 21 years or older, and have had a driver's license at least 5 years
  • Ability to become forklift certified
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and managers
  • Effective communication of goals and interplay of ideas and concepts
  • Competent knowledge of computer fundamentals including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Windows and Excel
  • Ability to learn and navigate through any web-based application, including ADP Self-Service Portal, SharePoint, WebForms, or any other application the Company implements to streamline functions
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills with the ability to achieve maximum effectiveness
  • SAP knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels (Executive to hourly) as well as customers
  • Ability to manage conflict and maintain calm in high stress situations
  • Ability to operate in uncertainty and create solutions consistent with the company's goals and core values
