Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Financial Analysis will be responsible for the strategy and initiatives of analyzing a wide variety of operational and financial data to provide business intelligence reporting to the organization. This person will not only create and build reports, but analyze and present the data to business leaders, providing guidance, support and possible solutions to set strategic direction in response to emerging business issues and changes in the organization. The Director of Financial Analysis will have a unique opportunity to partner with Executives to drive the future growth of the company.


  • Effectively partner with key stakeholders and business leaders to fully understand needs and assist in identifying financial reporting needs, data analysis and developing viable solutions and influential information

  • Develop and maintain monthly financial packages to Executive Team to discern budget vs. actual results

  • Lead implementation of data analytics package project including scoping meetings, assisting in design and testing and ensuring end product meets needs of stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain financial forecast expectations for financial leadership to project performance against bank covenants and other uses

  • Develop and maintain data analysis of branches to look for improved financial performance (expense savings/benchmarking opportunities)

  • Partner with business leaders to assess the financial impact of business decisions

  • Develop financial analysis, including scenario driven analysis as appropriate, to determine likely financial outcomes

  • Key metrics management (define, maintain, and track)

  • Identify key process evolution and improvement

  • Partner with and provide analytical support as needed to departments and executives as they evaluate various strategic business opportunities

  • Supports CFO by preparing various materials for meetings and other executive presentations

  • Assist in annual budget and planning process as needed


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or similar is a plus

  • At least 7 to 10+ years of financial and accounting experience (CPA is a plus but not required)

  • Experience in financial analysis and modeling preferred

  • Able to use financial acumen and judgement to understand data results, identify opportunities for improvement and offer solutions for efficiencies

  • Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus

  • Strong financial forecasting, modeling and analysis skills

  • Proficient user in Microsoft Excel and experience working with Big Data

  • Must possess intellectual curiosity

  • Project oriented with proven ability to lead projects

  • Able to build rapport and relationships with a variety of diverse stakeholders

  • Able to work independently and proactively to achieve financial goals

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
