The Recruiting Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Recruiting department, creating and posting job advertisements, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews with potential candidates, writing offer letters, and other administrative duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, organized, multi-tasker and have excellent communication skills.   • Create requisitions and post advertisements on various job websites

  • Maintain records in the company's HR database (Cornerstone OnDemand)Source and prescreen potential candidates

  • Schedule and organize interviews with candidates

  • Conduct and manage background checks

  • Communicate regularly with Hiring Managers, Recruiters and candidates providing status updates and other necessary information Assist new hires through the Onboarding process

  • Assist HR staff with projects

  • Develop a campus initiative; serving as point person and recruiting OST and Summer Interns


  • Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma required

  • Strong computer skills; ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications and work within company database (Cornerstone OnDemand, ADP - highly preferred)

  • Ability to work independently, as well as contributing as an effective team member

  • Capable of handling repetitive duties and maintaining a positive attitude

  • Very strong organizational skills; ability to maintain effective documentation within company database

  • Should be an effectual communicator verbally as well as through writing skills

  • Knowledge of the recruitment process is highly preferred
